When I was a child, my parents told me I could be anything I wanted to be, but that I should really consider being a doctor, lawyer, or astronaut. Their encouragements did not appeal to me. As I grew up, I knew I wanted to help people, but even more, I wanted to be the one to help them through the tough times.
I want to be the strong shoulder for patients when they need it. The one who has the answers to their questions. I want to be a nurse.
